3-Day Murchison Falls & Nile Safari
Murchison Falls is Uganda’s largest national park and one of the most dramatic landscapes in Africa — a safari where the Nile itself does the storytelling.
The highlight
Standing at the top of the falls as the entire Nile river is squeezed through a gap less than seven metres wide. Photographs never do it justice.
Safari Itinerary
Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rare chance to track white rhinos on foot, then continue to the park for a sundowner on the Nile.
Morning game drive on the Buligi tracks (lions, giraffes, buffalo). Afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls, then hike to the top of the falls where the Nile explodes through a 7-metre gorge.
Optional short game drive, then drive back to Kampala with a stop at the beautiful Karuma viewpoint for lunch.
